Reducing Post-harvest shrivel in “African Delight” plums
South African plums are mainly exported and with exporting comes a long sea freight period. When our fruit gets to the market on the other side, it is expected to look like it was harvested yesterday. This can be a real problem for some cultivars, because of gel breakdown, internal browning and shriveling.
